Be the Light with One by One Ministries!
Join us as we Claim the Future for Moms and their Babies
One by One is hosting our annual Claim the Future benefit on Thursday, September 11, at Bellevue Baptist Church. Our theme this year is Be the Light, reflecting Matthew 5:16 - "In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven."
We know you'll be blessed by our program as we share how our mentors have stepped up to Be the Light for our One by One moms. Doors will open at 6pm, and dinner and our program will begin at 6:30. Please enter Bellevue Baptist Church through the doors at the West Entrance.
Our keynote speaker this year is Dr. Matt Shackelford, the lead teaching pastor at Central Church in Collierville, TN. Pastor Matt's preaching focuses on understanding Scripture deeply and applying it practically for God's glory. He has led Central Church through revitalization by preaching Christ-centered messages that inspire joy and life change. He received training from Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.M.), Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Th.M., Ph.D. candidate), and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D. Min.). He and his wife Ashley have four children ranging in age from one just out of diapers to another who recently started driving.
We are welcoming Dr. Timothy Jackson, Jr., as our emcee again this year. Dr. Jackson is the senior pastor at Hope Fellowship Church in Memphis and a frequently requested speaker. He authored the online devotional "Talk to Me God." He is a senior environmental specialist at FedEx Corporation. He and his wife Ashiqua have three children.
Dr. Joshua McClain, worship pastor at Collierville First Baptist Church, will lead our musical entertainment for the evening. Last year, his wife Hannah joined him on stage for amazing worship in song. This year he will perform with the Voices of Collierville. Dr. McClain was ordained to the ministry at Bellevue Baptist Church and has been leading worship for 14 years. He and his wife have two children.
In recognition of the 24th anniversary of September 11, we will have a memorial table and observe a moment of silence for those who lost their lives in this tragic attack. We will always hold them in our hearts and their families in our prayers.
