God has blessed me with the privilege of being involved with One by One for over 12 years. He has allowed me to mentor 5 moms through various stages of the program. I am still meeting with one of my first moms encouraging her in her journey as a single mom with her 10 year old twins and their 5 year old sister.
God not only guides mentors as they support their One by One mom, but those moms lives are changed as some of them accept Christ as their savior and others come back to their relationship with Christ after being away from him. The spiritual dimension of the ministry makes the excellent curriculum more relevant to the mom as she realizes God is with her in her journey and she can be the "best teacher her child will ever have."
