Your support helps new moms and their babies

Moms come to One by One for a variety of reasons, but they are all looking for the love, encouragement, support, and parenting education a One by One mentor can provide.

Ayanna is one of 300 moms One by One has helped this year. When she was six months pregnant, she lost her mom. She came to One by One looking for a mentor who could provide extra support. "My mentor has been just what I needed. She is wonderful and is always there when I need her."

Ayanna's mentor, Wanda, says, "I know how it feels to have a baby at an early age and not have someone to talk to or walk with you through life. It's challenging and scary. But now I get to pray, teach, disciple, and laugh with Ayanna."

Ayanna and Wanda have completed One by One's Year 1 program and are now going through our Year 2 and Discipleship programs. Ayanna adds, "One by One has been great. I love the community and care each mom gets."

Ayanna's life has changed a lot in the past two years. She has a healthy and happy baby boy. She got married and moved from an apartment to a house. She has a relationship with the Lord. And she found a new job that allows her to work from home. She says, "One by One has been a great addition to my life. I have the best mentor, and I am truly grateful to her."
